Late 2007 Compelling New Water Pump Invention: A significant portion of this suffering can now be alleviated with a new water pump that has just been developed. Current manual pumping systems are limited to a depth of no more than approximately 200 feet (60 m). However there are many areas in which safe drinking water is only found below 200 feet. Unless there is power available, these areas have been forced to use contaminated surface water. But that has all changed with the invention of the Hygr Pump. Now even a child could pump water from 2,000 ft (600 m) or more with very little effort. This new technology can even deliver clean water 24 hours a day with little or no outside energy source!

What We Are Doing About it!

The Clean Water Equality Foundation has contracted with the manufacturer of the Hygr Pump™ wherein they will build, test and deliver to qualified Humanitarian Organizations a version of their highly successful pump. The Organizations slated to receive the pump will have been picked by us based on their existing work in third world countries delivering and installing water systems. Our modified version of the pump will be built out of highly durable plastic in order to keep the cost down and will have a manual drive system that will allow a man, woman or child to pump water from depths far greater than that now possible with existing manual pumping systems
